Bead 16: The Classic South Asian Board Game of Strategy
Bead 16 (or Sholo Guti) is a traditional two-player strategy game from South Asia, similar to checkers.
Core Rules
Goal: Capture all 16 opposing pieces or block them from making a move.
Setup: 37 intersecting points on a geometric board. Each player places 16 beads on their side, leaving the center row empty.
Turn: Move one bead to an adjacent open point along any connecting line.
Capture: Jump over an enemy piece into a vacant spot right behind it to remove it from the board. Multiple jumps are allowed in a single turn if paths remain clear.
